I would purchase anything you write!! It had been months since I read
one of your pieces and I just love the way you express yourself. I am
so busy with work and I have two little boys that keep me hopping so
if you have a new piece up online, I can print it off and read it on
my way to work! Self-indulgent hogwash. Dear Fred, (publisher of Whatever Vaughan Magazine) What a perfect introduction to the Opal Spa. This article
gives the reader a glimpse into the luxuries that they can experience
here at the Opal Spa. I was quite impressed with my interview with Lorette
C. Luzajic – her professionalism is seen in her article and she
has truly captured the glamourous side that I want all the residents
of Vaughan to know. We got the book. Thanks. I don't know how to properly reciprocate when
a writer puts that much of herself on the page. I'm not sure how to honour
that. The book treads holy ground, sometimes with a holy rawness and
sometimes with unholy eloquence. The last two stanzas enter a whole other
realm. The Paws for Charity Campaign symbolizes the power of a partnership and networking. It also reveals a fact that the friends of these women have known for a long time. These women are consummate entrepreneurs who generously give back to the community. Bravo to Sara Harley, Julie Kelly, Char Harding and Sue Bird! And, bravo
to Lorette C. Luzajic who recognized the incredible efforts of these
women and gave their story life. YOU ROCK!
Lorette has such wit and journalistic acumen, she's
a sure bet for a future Pulitzer. Lorette is a highly creative, unusual thinker who adds
flare and distinction to every project. There are a million writers out
there but she stands out. Her work is clear, accurate, punctual and she
is fun to work with.
I
knew when I was 20 years old that I was the best young writer in Canada,
no – pardon me – the world. I felt
this in my bones, in my marrow. I had a chip on my shoulder, greasy hair
and a brand new Smith Corona on my desk. I even had a working title for
the great Canadian novel I was about to write.
I collaborated with Lorette
in the creation of a bi-monthly arts publication called Idea Museum.
Since then, Lorette has contributed to the fulfillment of numerous
personal projects. Lorette is a perfect filter for ideas, making intelligible
the products of my imagination and producing salient written pieces
that have always exceeded my desired results. Lorette’s creativity
and critical thinking adapts to the context of any project, her results
are always striking. Her advice and editing has helped land some of
my projects into publication, scholarship, and awards. I highly recommend
her work and look forward to a long association
Lorette of The Girl Can Write
has been indispensable to me on numerous occasions. The finest example
of her work was the sale of my home. I married a Canadian in April
of 2005 and had to sell my Chicago home. I didn’t have much time and thought I would have
better negotiating leverage by selling on my own. I had a general idea
of how I wanted to present my property but was unsure of how exactly
to go about writing the copy for my advertising materials. My spouse
directed me to The Girl Can Write. From the beginning I felt very comfortable
with Lorette’s talents and abilities. She asked me for my ideas
and materials I felt were relevant. Within a few days she had produced
not only my ad copy but also a visitation sheet she thought would be
useful for potential buyers visiting the property. Already, The Girl
Can Write had gone beyond my expectations. To make a long story short,
within 2 days of posting my ad on the internet, I had 12 appointments.
Within 48 hours of the first showing I had 2 offers! I doubt that this
would have been possible without Lorette’s services. Thanks to Lorette, I was able to successfully put in
motion my business project. She delivered every project in advance of
demanding due dates. Her work helped me get my ideas across more easily
in English to major toy and education companies, and land the contracts
my distribution company wanted. For every communication I need, I know
I have my steady, trustworthy, reliable writer. It could be no other
than Lorette.
What a BEAUTIFUL article about
my work! I love the way you interpreted some of my pieces. You were
right on! You even pinpointed some things I had been trying to express
but didn’t even know if
I did it right! Thank you so much! Lorette, I’ve been looking at your new edition
for a couple of days. It’s hard to believe that only several people
do so much work. The Idea Museum must be a heaven for you, without of
course, all the boring angels. I am very grateful and honoured that you
have included me with so many fine artists in your magazine. Your writing
was very thoughtful, there is a sincere decency to it. As well, I admire
the sincerity in your other writings, where you lash out at things that
could use forty more. I wish you much success as your writing deserves
a wide audience. Keep biting the dogs.
Discover tomorrow’s authors today. For over 40
years, Quarry has premiered Canada’s best known writers, including
Margaret Atwood and Michael Ondaatje…The tradition continues as
the hottest new writers take centre stage. Look for poetry and fiction
by Michelle Berry, Lorette Thiessen (now Luzajic), and many more. We just wanted to thank you for your AWESOME feature
on LUSH for Idea Museum. We are so happy to hear that you like our products
and appreciate the philosophy of the company. We read the article over
and over because it was just so darn fantastic! Lorette has edited many of my scripts and other type
of work. Academically and emotionally she has elevated every single piece
to another level by applying her subtlety and profound choice of words.
Her style is well defined; complex, yet exceptionally balanced. Every
time Lorette works on my project, she is able to recognize the essence
and all the needs of that project as well as my personal needs as an
author. Her professionalism is also exceptional: not only is she reliable
with deadlines, but also with communication and people skills. She is
extraordinary example of one creative writer with a very powerful style.
